About CWEC

CWEC was established in September 2001 as the Cheshire & Warrington Economic Alliance to co-ordinate economic development activity across Cheshire and Warrington.

Following the successful bid to establish a Local Enterprise Partnership in Cheshire & Warrington, it is the LEP Board who will set the strategy for private sector led economic growth.

CWEC will provide the professional, technical and administrative support for the LEP Board.
