Cheshire and Warrington’s Business Ambassador programme includes senior business people from a range of Cheshire and Warrington companies. Some run the areas’ major businesses - successful companies that create employment and a vibrant economy for Cheshire & Warrington. Others have a wealth of experience or run their own small businesses in growing sectors. Above all, the Ambassadors have a shared belief that Cheshire and Warrington provides a great business location and are passionate about the benefits of living, working and investing in the area.
The Duke of Westminster is the patron of the Cheshire and Warrington Business Ambassador Programme.
The role of an Ambassador is to promote the business benefits of operating in Cheshire and Warrington to senior business people from outside the area, to pass on economic data and intelligence and wherever possible, to support and lobby for Cheshire and Warrington projects and interests.
Ambassadors are provided with regularly updated information on key economic performance and on project developments. Ambassadors also act as a sounding board and are consulted on key issues affecting the sub region.
