Cheetham Hall Wins DWP Redundancy Support Contract 

Nantwich based Executive Recruitment company Cheetham Hall has secured a contract with the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) to assist newly unemployed professionals and people engaged under the Jobcentre Plus Rapid Response Service (RRS) who are under notice of redundancy.

The contract enables Cheetham Hall to provide specific assistance targeted to meet the needs of Managers/Professionals in their search for a new position.

Cheetham Hall will provide support and advice to people referred by Jobcentre Plus Advisers.  This will include:

  • CV layout advice
  • Understanding the role and processes of recruitment consultancies
  • Advice on networking and the unadvertised job market
  • Applying for public sector jobs
  • The ‘interim assignment’ market
  • Advice on various recruitment processes including interview technique; presentations, assessment centres and psychometric testing.
  • Tracking applications and gaining feedback.

The advice will be provided using a combination of group and individual sessions together with a follow up action plan.
