Northwich company The Hut Group tops Sunday Times Survey
The ninth annual Tech Track 100 league table was published in The Sunday Times on 20 September 2009.
Top of the table was Northwich-based e-commerce website operator and on-line retailer The Hut Group.
Cheshire had two of the companies in the top 5, with Wilmslow-based mobile phone application designer Mobica placed at number 4.
The 2009 Tech Track 100 ranked Britain's fastest-growing private tech companies based on sales growth over the latest three years, from 2005 to 2008, or 2006 to 2009. Growth ranged from 38% pa to 189% pa, with sales typically between £5m and £30m.
