During Global Entrepreneurship Week thousands of events are run in the UK and across the world to encourage people to be entrepreneurial. GEW encourages innovation, imagination and creativity and puts the spotlight on enterprise.
Anyone can get involved whether in education, the public sector, business or the third sector.

The UK's largest one-day enterprise competition for schools and colleges. In 2008 over 56,00 young people (aged14-19) got involved, working in teams to come up with new and innovative ideas in response to a secret brief.

Social enterprises are dynamic businesses delilvering lasting social and envirommental change. Unlike traditional business models, they reinvest a percentrage of their profit back into the business or into community projects.
