Irish company to develop new technologies in Chester

Irish owned electrical engineering solutions company, Enersol have chosen Chester to set up their first international base, creating up to 30 jobs in the region over the next 3 years.
After working closely with the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), the company will be based at the Energy Innovation Centre at EA Technology. Enersol will also collaborate with the University of Manchester on the research and development of energy distribution networks, looking at how to connect renewable energy to the grid. This will involve working closely with the Joule Centre for Energy Research.
