The consultation process for the initial Local Enterprise Partnership prospectus has now closed. "Cheshire and Warrington means business - a prospectus for a Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership" - has now been submitted to government. This can be downloaded below.
Government recently announced the abolition of the Regional Development Agencies and indicated that Local Enterprise Partnerships could replace these. On 29th June Government wrote to Local Authority and Business Leaders inviting them to form LEPs in their areas. A submission has been made to Government in time for the 6th September deadline following consultation with the private, public and third sectors.

Cheshire and Warrington is preparing a bid for project funding out of the new Regional Growth Fund and is inviting organisations to submit project proposals.
