CWEA's key role is to understand the Cheshire and Warrington economy, forecast future trends, and with a wide range of public and private sector partners, develop and agree a sub-regional economic strategy and action plans to maximise opportunities.
Sustainable economic growth is inextricably linked with a range of factors such as population trends, education and skills, transport and communications and the environment. And, because of Cheshire and Warrington's location between Liverpool and Manchester, economic performance here is strongly influenced by what is happening in those city regions and in the Northwest as a whole.
CWEA with its partners produces the following sub regional documents:
-
Investing in Success - the Economic Development Strategy for Cheshire and Warrington
-
The Sub Regional Action Plan for Cheshire and Warrington

Building on Success - A State of the Economy in Cheshire and Warrington.
