Strategic Framework

CWEA's key role is to understand the Cheshire and Warrington economy, forecast future trends, and with a wide range of public and private sector partners, develop and agree a sub-regional economic strategy and action plans to maximise opportunities.

Sustainable economic growth is inextricably linked with a range of factors such as population trends, education and skills, transport and communications and the environment.
